SNOOP DOGG GETS BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FROM HIS ‘BROTHERS’ WILL FERRELL & JOHN C. REILLY

LOS ANGELES, CA –

Snoop Dogg has received a special surprise for his 52nd birthday courtesy of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. The Step Brothers stars welcomed The West Coast legend on stage at Saturday night’s (October 21) Best Night of Your Life 2 Benefit in Los Angeles.

“Yesterday was a very special day,” Reilly said. “It was Mr. Snoop Dogg’s birthday. We’re about to sing happy birthday to the greatest rapper in the world!”

A triple-decker cake was then wheeled on the stage filled with candles and Snoop did what he does best while using them to light up another blunt while the crowd serenaded him.

“My brothers surprised Will and. John,” Snoop added in his Instagram caption.

The Step Brothers co-stars were performing the comedy classic’s 2008 anthem “Boats ‘N Hoes” before bringing Snoop out and leading into his 1994 “Gin and Juice” hit.

Fans flooded Snoop Dogg’s comment section with birthday wishes and were happy to see him being able to receive his flowers.

“Bro Snoop is literally living his best life Snoop be everywhere all of the time and only Snoop can do ish and still be invited everywhere Happy belated birthday King,” one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, the celebration for Snoop didn’t stop there as he was honored for his “significant contributions to the popularization of marijuana” by none other than Jimmy Kimmel last week with 4/20 serving as the Doggfather’s half-birthday.

“Mr. Dogg’s birthday falls on the exact midpoint to 4/20—a coincidence that is totally tripping me out right now,” Kimmel said.

Kimel joked that celebrating half-birthdays is a significant tradition in his own family (“We sing Halfy Birthday, we have half a cake”), before moving on to his inspiration for celebrating Snoop.

Last year, he said, “I was sitting there thinking, ‘I wonder what the half-birthday of 4/20 is.’”

He figured it out and quickly realized that the date, 10/20, was “my friend Snoop Dogg’s birthday.” “It absolutely blew my mind,” the host continued. “And I thought, ‘Why shouldn’t this be a holiday?’”
