Meg Ryan, 61, looks unrecognisable as she makes first public outing in six months to support pal Michael J. Fox at his documentary screening

Meg Ryan appeared completely different during a rare public appearance in New York on Thursday.

The 61-year-old actress, unseen since November last year, showcased an incredibly smooth complexion as she attended a screening for Michael J. Fox’s upcoming documentary, “Still.”

Despite her longstanding denial of plastic surgery or enhancements, Meg exhibited fuller lips and wrinkle-free skin, complemented by her signature blonde hair. The screening, held at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, saw the “Sleepless In Seattle” star in high spirits as she posed with friends, including Bill Murray and Elvis Costello.

While Meg has been making fewer public outings lately, she made sure to support Michael, who is releasing an Apple TV+ film chronicling his battle with Parkinson’s disease. The film, combining documentary, archival, and scripted elements, narrates Michael’s journey from a Canadian army base upbringing to 1980s Hollywood stardom. It delves into his public life and the private struggles following his secret Parkinson’s diagnosis at 29.

For the documentary screening, Meg displayed effortless style in a scarlet jacket paired with brown plaid trousers and chunky black boots.

Meg’s appearance has evolved significantly over the years, sparking rumors about potential cosmetic procedures. In a 2015 interview with Porter magazine, she expressed indifference to the speculation, stating, ‘I don’t pay a lot of attention frankly…Imagine being a hater, how stupid.’

In 2016, plastic surgeon Mark Youssef analyzed her face, suggesting she had ‘too many’ alterations, including cheek fillers, a nose job, lip injections, Botox, and possibly a facelift. He noted changes in her cheek volume, nose shape, lip fullness, forehead Botox, and potential face lift.

Last year, it was announced that Meg would return to the screen, starring in and directing the movie “What Happens Later,” an adaptation of Steven Dietz’s play “Shooting Star.” Described as an ‘evolved and nostalgic take on the romantic comedy,’ the film explores the romantic past of a former couple stranded in an airport during a snowstorm. David Duchovny will co-star as the male lead.
