Vice President J.D. Vance recently ignited a national debate by warning what he called “rogue” federal judges obstructing Trump administration policies.
Vance criticized judges for overstepping their roles and blocking key executive orders, including the controversial birthright citizenship restriction. He labeled these rulings “judicial activism” and argued that judges were using personal political beliefs to disrupt the law.
Vance also condemned decisions blocking the administration’s efforts to cut funding for sanctuary cities and limit the Department of Government Efficiency’s access to federal financial systems. He warned that there would be consequences for judges abusing their power, drawing support from Republican allies, including Senator Tom Cotton and Representative Jim Jordan, who discussed impeachment proceedings.
