JANE FONDA, WHO IS 85 YEARS OLD, SAYS SHE’S PREPARED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF DYING, ACCORDING TO A STATEMENT.

Jane Fonda has been famous for a very long time. At 85 years old, it’s fair to say she’s towards the end of her career, even if she still works.

Although her age and some health issues have made some fans worried, Jane Fonda herself talked openly about how she feels about death. She insists she is “not scared.”

Having spent almost her whole life in the public eye, Fonda now wants to use her remaining time to emphasize how important it is for celebrities to speak up for important causes.

In an interview a few months ago, the star of “Grace and Frankie” shared that she’s “not afraid of death” but understands that it will happen “sooner rather than later.”

In September of last year, Jane Fonda shared that she had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer. She talked openly about it, saying, “I’m not going to be around for much longer.”

As she’s getting older, she believes it’s important to be realistic about the time behind her compared to the time ahead. After revealing her cancer diagnosis, Fonda explained that she would be undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

She shared on Instagram, “I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments. This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky. I’m also lucky because I have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatments.”

Fonda acknowledged her privilege in having good healthcare but also pointed out that many families in America face cancer without such resources.

In an interview, she expressed, “I’m ready. I’ve had a great life. Not that I want to go, but I’m aware that it’s going to be sooner rather than later.”

Good news, Fonda’s chemotherapy worked well. In December, she shared on her website, “My oncologist told me that my cancer is in remission, and I can stop chemo. I feel blessed and fortunate.”

Even though she’s had health challenges, the 85-year-old actress insists she’s not afraid of death. She sees it as an adventure and says, “I’m not scared of dying.” She mentioned in an interview that she doesn’t want to go yet because she still has a lot to do.

Jane Fonda shared that what really scares her is reaching the end of her life with a lot of regrets and not enough time to do something about it.

While she has very few regrets, she mentioned that she wishes she could have been a different kind of mother to her children when they were younger. Even though her children are talented and smart, she feels like she didn’t know how to do it better back then.

Many people, including myself, will miss Jane Fonda when she’s no longer with us. Are you a fan of hers? Let us know in the comments. Feel free to share this article on Facebook to appreciate all the fantastic work Fonda has done!
