Iris secretly witnessed Daniel and Melissa in a passionate embrace in the bathroom, realizing they were having an affair.
Distraught, she rushed to warn her daughter, Eliza. Later, at a gathering, Eliza sang a love song for Daniel, unaware of the betrayal unfolding behind her back. When they drove Iris to the airport the next day, Iris couldn’t stand seeing Daniel acting affectionate with Eliza. After leaving the airport, Iris returned to Eliza’s house, knowing Daniel and Melissa would meet once Eliza went to work. She apologized for not listening sooner and vowed to take action. The painful truth shattered Eliza’s illusions, and she finally understood her mother’s concerns.
