Bondi Calls On Supreme Court To Intervene

Attorney General Pam Bondi expressed concerns on Thursday regarding the impartiality of the federal judge assigned to the Signal group chat case, stating that he “cannot be objective” and suggesting that “many judges need to be removed.”

She referred to the appointment of U.S. District Judge James Boasberg to preside over the Signal case—where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Vice President Vance, and other officials discussed a military operation against Houthi rebels in Yemen—as a “wild coincidence against Donald Trump and our administration.”

The group chat was inadvertently shared with Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic, leading to its public exposure. In a separate matter concerning deported Venezuelan migrants allegedly linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, Judge Boasberg ruled against the Trump administration, asserting that the courts should intervene to reverse deportations.
