‘In Memory of Guy’

The Duchess of Sussex shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, offering glimpses of cherished memories she, her husband, and their two children shared with their beloved late adopted pet.

Meghan Markle announced on January 7, 2025, that her beagle, Guy, has died. Fans who have experienced the pain of losing their own cherished pets have shown an outpouring of love and support. They have mourned alongside her and shared in her grief.

In an emotional clip on Instagram, Meghan shared heartwarming moments of Guy bonding with the family, including playful times at the beach, relaxing in the kitchen, enjoying the garden, and lounging together.

Guy, she noted, was always by her side, sharing in all her milestones and joys. “The quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,” Meghan divulged.

The 43-year-old also narrated the sad health issues Guy endured shortly before her move to the UK. After a terrible accident, he underwent multiple surgeries and was confined to a clinic for months. Doctors doubted Guy would ever walk again. However, Meghan said that with the care of Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick, his team, and her late-night visits to Surrey with Harry, Guy made an incredible recovery.
