The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued an Enhanced Risk warning for severe thunderstorms across parts of the central United States.
This warning encompasses an area including central Oklahoma, north Texas, and Kansas, with cities such as Oklahoma City, Norman, Wichita Falls, Denton, and Lewisville lying directly within the zone of heightened concern. Alongside the severe thunderstorm warning, a Tornado Watch has been issued covering parts of southwest Arkansas, southern and southeast Oklahoma, as well as central through north and northeast Texas.
