A close friend traveled abroad for a week.
I was at a party and noticed her spouse getting affectionate with another female. I took a photograph.
When my friend returned, she stated that she wants a divorce. That’s when I showed her the “incriminating picture.”
However, what she did next seemed like a slap in the face.
She handed me a photo and said, “And someone else saw you talking and smiling with the same girl later on. “Is this what friendship means to you?” I tried to clarify that I was only speaking with her to find out what was going on before saying anything. I didn’t want to cause difficulties in her marriage without knowing the whole story.
But my friend thought I should have told her first, so she cut me off. Even though I still believe I did the right thing, our mutual acquaintances found out and agreed with her, claiming I did not act like a loyal friend. In the end, I lost the entire gang.
